25 Memorable Moments from the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2010-2011 Season
#21: Bill Guerin’s Retirement Ceremony
It was sad to see Bill Guerin retire, but it was really nice that he decided to retire a Penguin. I’m excited to see what Billy will do as a member of the Penguins’ staff as the player development coach!
“I went to camp in Philly and I tried it,” Guerin said. “I was OK with it being over. My heart was here, and there was no reason for me to keep hanging on. I ended with a good year. That’s how I wanted it. I feel like I’m going out on my terms.” source

so i guess during the wilkes-barre/scranton penguins game last night, bill guerin was behind the bench! i don’t know if he was just standing there or if he was actually coaching, but either way that’s really cool…I wonder if he will end up in some kind of coaching position with the penguins in the next few years?
