#9: Penguins in the Community

The only thing that’s as great as seeing the Penguins on the ice is to see them taking part in the community.  Whether it’s the annual Children’s Hospital Christmas visit, or the autograph session Mike Rupp arranged to help a local family who had been in a terrible drunk driving accident, the Penguins always know how to reach out to those in need and warm all of our hearts.

#6: The Central Park Practice, also known as “The Bus Incident”

In early February, the team scheduled an outdoor practice at Central Park prior to a game against the New York Rangers.  Then, their bus crashed into a car, causing the team to pack everything into Taxi’s.  The whole incident led to a lot of priceless pictures, my favorite being this one:
