i forgot to say this yesterday but…
every single time i go to a penguins game, on the way out i always see people lining up to take pictures with evgeni malkin’s parents. i’ve never taken a picture with them because personally i think it’s kind of intrusive, but they still always look so happy and grateful, NEVER annoyed, to be there and being loved by all the penguins fans. i think they are still so excited to be “local celebrities” even though their son has played here for more than 5 years. it’s just really cute. i’m sure geno is aware of this and that’s part of why he likes being here so much.
just a thought!
