I feel like all my brain cells died after I read this article. Apparently Malkin hates Pittsburgh and wants to leave because he didn’t talk to the media yesterday. and he didn’t TWEET ENOUGH:
If he wanted to circumvent traditional media, as is his right, Malkin could have taken to social media. Though his Twitter account has over 260,000 followers, there was no “Glad to be back in Pittsburgh” tweet. Nothing.
so the question now is, WHO CARES. Most of the time when he tweets it’s in Russian and you have to put it in google translate anyway.
and, on a related note, did this “reporter” ever take 5 seconds to think about the fact that he’s been in Russia for a few months and might be a little rusty with his english???
I think Geno is a great player and genuinely loves this city and mostly, the game. To say he doesn’t “get it” is just totally off base and doesn’t reflect the opinions of Penguins fans at all. I think this reporter doesn’t “get it”.
